Municipal Capacity Development Program  The Municipal Capacity Development Program (MCDP) was created with the primary objective of building sustainable communities in Saskatchewan. The role of the MCDP in sustainable community development is to encourage and assist municipalities in developing long-term municipal capacity on an inter-jurisdictional basis.

Provincial Rat Eradication Program  The Provincial Rat Eradication Program (PREP) was established in the spring of 2010. PREP features a six-person board of directors, a six-person team of regional supervisors and the local pest control officers. The six PREP divisions are based on the six SARM divisions. The goal of PREP is to work toward the eradication of rats in Saskatchewan.

Infrastructure Canada's e-newsletter  This newsletter reports to Canadians on the steps that the Government of Canada is taking to accelerate infrastructure funding and stimulate the economy through the infrastructure components of Canada's Economic Action Plan. The Government of Canada is working with provinces, territories and municipalities to speed up project funding, streamline approvals and get shovels in the ground faster.

Saskatchewan Agri-Value Initiative (SAVI). SAVI is a new program under the federal-provincial Growing Forward policy framework. This initiative was designed for farmers and non-farmers who are involved in value-added processing of primary agricultural products. The goal is to assist in the development and expansion of small to medium-sized enterprises and to enable them to make sound business decisions and capture market opportunities.
